One Year On Medium — How I Have Done So Far
My tips, earnings, and suggestions
I have finally been here on Medium for a year and I’ve seen a few changes. I’ve also seen an influx of new writers coming in within the last few months, as well as a lot of new publications. I’ve also seen publications close and veteran writers saying their farewells as they step away from the Medium platform.
I’m not planning on going anywhere…yet. In fact, I created another Medium page just for my pen name in an effort to start writing again and I want to share some of my work with more readers, grow my audience in a different niche than what I am writing here on this page.

Why I Started Writing On Medium
I had heard about Medium a few times in the author community and had never really put much thought into seeing what it really was until one of the authors said that they were using it to market their work. Not only was it helping with their sales, but they were also making a little bit of an income just writing on Medium about anything and everything.
